Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument | Canon AE-1 | Psychedelic Blues #6 film

Arms stretched wide
yet cast aside.
It doesn’t matter what you provide,
or confide —
they won’t abide.
Forgetting so quickly what you supplied.

Has the love run dry?
Ask the question to the sky.
Their actions you must decry,
even if someone else has your pie.
Compassion in undersupply,
treating you like a passerby —
while you hang, waiting on the reply.

The gaslighting,
shocking backsliding —
forever fighting,
constant slighting,
What are you really hiding?

A master of manipulations
always ignoring the stipulations,
speeding toward love’s obliteration —
a constant moral deterioration.

Scream at the cactus,
forget the dark actress —
acting so tactless.
Lost in the madness.

The saguaro understands,
down near the borderlands —
those majestic Sonoran sands.
Release the pain from your hands,
give it back to the Badlands
and heal your heartlands.

Life’s flow
is to let emotions come and go,
the drama you must forgo —
find a new way to glow
and drop the ego.
