I’ll spend all-day
at the Papago cafe,
sorrows stay away -
to the jukebox, I’ll sway.
While I forget the grey.
I’ll be easy enough to find,
keeping off the grind.
Just searching for my mind;
call the bar if you’re so inclined.
Way down there — lost, I’ll be
adrift in the dry sea,
drinkin’ like a manatee.
I’ll be back when I’m not thirsty.
