Amsterdam, Netherlands| Canon AE-1 | Psychedelic Blues #4 film

You found yourself lost in a delirium,
a tragic loss of your equilibrium —
alcohol a direct symptom
of your darkened cynicism.
Pull yourself out and get to the gymnasium.

In a quest for life’s vivacity,
you were filled with dark audacity
and a rude loquacity —
losing your tenacity.
The only way out now is veracity.

Dangnabit!
Quit the habit.
Don’t participate in the racket —
trust me, you can hack it.

When the darkness you leave behind,
a new light you will find.
Change your mind —
for the good of mankind.

The chaos can be contained,
happiness can be sustained —
let this be ingrained.
You will live a life far less strained.

So smile on,
your dreams are not gone —
be sure not to abscond,
the universe will respond.

When life feels like doom —
there will be a change soon.
Get out of the gloom,
clean your room —
eventually, you will find your bloom.
